HOT NEWS!!

Anka Kusu is hosting the first BellyJam of 2010!

What is a BellyJam? It's a participatory dance & music event that brings together dancers, drummers and melody musicians in the community for a night of fun, socializing and sharing Middle Eastern Music and dance.

SPECIFICS:

This BellyJam has a HUGE room with plenty of space to dance and make music, AND it's got vendors too!

COST: $10 (covers entrance and some light snacks)

WHAT TO BRING:

A portable chair or floor pillow to sit on, and a few dollars to spend if you'd like.

NOTE: The event site is the social hall at the Reformed Church of Highland Park - their parking lot, and the entrance to the social hall, is around the back of the building (you can enter the parking lot from either Raritan Ave/Rt 27 or Magnolia Street)

Anka Kusu Photo Shoot

On Saturday, March 7th, all of Anka Kusu gathered to have new, professional promotional photographs taken. We would like to thank the following people for their roles in making this happen:

Dr. Berry and Dr. Roland allowed us use their gorgeous office for our shoot. You may wonder how a dentists' office could be the most perfect and beautiful location for a middle eastern photo shoot. You will have to look at the pictures (coming soon) and see for yourself!
